These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of BenchLynk (“Service”), a repair tracking platform for independent jewelry stores. By using BenchLynk, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BenchLynk, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Pilot Program

BenchLynk is currently in a private pilot program. Access is limited to approved jewelry stores. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time during the pilot phase.

3. User Accounts

To use BenchLynk, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use BenchLynk only for:

• Tracking jewelry repair transactions for your business
• Communicating repair status to customers (with consent)
• Managing operational workflows within your store

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Send unsolicited marketing messages via SMS
• Attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of the Service
• Reverse engineer or copy any features or functionality
• Use the Service to transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware

6. SMS Notifications

You acknowledge that:

• SMS notifications require explicit customer consent
• You are responsible for obtaining valid consent before enabling SMS alerts
• Messages are transactional only and must not be used for marketing
• Message and data rates may apply to recipients
• Customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP
• Customers may obtain assistance by replying HELP

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Ownership and Intellectual Property

BenchLynk and all related trademarks, logos, and content are the property of BenchLynk. You retain ownership of data you upload, but grant us a license to use it solely to provide the Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of BenchLynk is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.

9. Disclaimers

BenchLynk is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BenchLynk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or any other reason.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
